AEYON POSITION TITLE: Business Development Manager (Talent Management Services)

LOCATION: Remote (United States)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this role, the BDM will generate new business opportunities through strategically researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest. This includes cultivating relationships with senior-level executives and VPs, and following up on up-sell opportunities through leads generated by delivery or marketing efforts. The BDM will also support proposal efforts, which include working collaboratively across different verticals within the Aeyon organization to gather content and complete proposals. The BDM will also track and update opportunities utilizing the Salesforce platform and put together milestone review presentations for leadership sign-off. A successful candidate will be familiar with Software as Service platforms and the services necessary to manage and implement them. This position is part of the Talent Management Services team and will serve a vital function in Aeyon’s ability to win new business and retain current clients.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Waivable/Substitutable: 5 years of experience in sales/customer facing role, specifically in the SaaS industry (Blackboard or SAP SuccessFactors or Cornerstone OnDemand)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory: experience using SharePoint, salesforce, and familiarity with SaaS platforms, i.e., Cornerstone OnDemand, SAP Success Factors, etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of customer-facing, system integration, and/or technology experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in professional services and demonstrated consulting skills in an enterprise-class customer SaaS environment.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors or Blackboard Learn, or Cornerstone OnDemand
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge with talent management or human resources consulting.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment while collaborating across functional and geographical teams.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to identify trends and interrelationships between data and information, effectively reason through complex challenges.
  • Demonstrated knowledge using Salesforce or other pipeline management platforms.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and coordinate timely RFP responses to ensure compliance with prospect and client requirements.
  • Lead and support customers through the improvement of their talent management business practices, process-reengineering, and the associated application of their investment
  • The BDM will partner with and trusted advisor during customer engagements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our business, products, and market positioning.
  • Participate in daily meetings and chats.
