Job Description

Aeyon seeks a highly skilled, experienced Level III Data Analyst to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and operational effectiveness through rigorous financial management, audit response, internal controls evaluation, and policy development. This requirement will support the Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics priorities for modernizing business processes to support an effective internal control program and improve external reporting requirements. This program is a centralized, nationwide program that is responsible for meeting the requirements outlined in the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123 (OMB A-123), OMB Circular A-136 (OMB A-136), the Chief Financial Officer’s Act of 1990 and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) publications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently apply advanced technical expertise and skills to implement business solutions. Level IIIs direct project teams and interact with FM&C and Government clients at the Branch and Division Head Level.

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support cybersecurity and IT risk management objectives. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable intelligence to project teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights for RMF processes and compliance with NIST and FISCAM standards.

• Compliance and Risk Assessment: Utilize data analytics to support compliance efforts, including monitoring and reporting on adherence to NIST standards and FISCAM requirements. Analyze data related to IT risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents, providing recommendations for mitigation and improvement strategies.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies through data analysis, recommending solutions that align with project goals and compliance requirements. Support developing and implementing automated data analysis tools and techniques to streamline reporting and compliance monitoring.

• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, and project management, to ensure data analysis efforts are aligned with overall project objectives. Communicate complex data insights clearly and understandably to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts, promoting skill development and best practices in data analysis and reporting. Stay abreast of data analysis methodologies and cybersecurity standards advancements, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

• Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to lead small teams, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

• Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities to design and implement solutions for data quality, integration, and analytics challenges.

• Experience supporting IT Development (SDLC - Technical documentation, requirements, design, testing, change management or deployment) or creating/maintaining databases or data and analytics experience (creation of data visualizations, data analytic reports, data cleansing scripts, and processes or performing technical data analytics) for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees.

• Six (6) years of progressive, relevant experience working with Information Assurance data.

Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited United States college or university in a field of study relevant to his/her professional role.
