Job Description:
This position supports the Office of Assistant Secretary of the Army and Financial Management & Comptroller, Army Audit Sustainment. The Risk Analyst will be a part of the Army’s financial statement auditability initiatives. We are currently seeking a Risk Analyst to support the OCAT Audit Cell:
- Required to have a complete understanding of the Green Book and OMB A-123 guidance.
- Experience developing Risk Assessments and creating Risk Profiles.
- Conduct training on how to mitigate risks and how to establish internal controls.
- Compile Annual Statement of Assurance and use knowledge and experience to improve the process.
- Develop and improve Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM).
- Advise and provide recommendations to the client to assist in building strong accountability for the business process results combined with responsibility for execution at the operating unit level and building out the Risk Management Internal Control Strategic plan and timeline.
Experience Requirements:
- 6 years of federal financial management
- Risk Management, Internal Controls, Annual Statement of Assurance.

Education Requirements:
Mandatory: Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management
Waiverable/Substitutable: Bachelor’s degree and one of the following certifications: CDFM, CGFM, CICA, PMP (No waiver required for bachelor’s degree and one of these certs)
