Job Description:

The Senior Scheduler will provide scheduling support for the SLS Program Office under the NASA CPSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).

  • Provide scheduling support assistance for the SLS Project Office.
  • Interact with the peer schedulers, SLS Civil Servant Lead Schedulers, Element PP&C teams, senior project personnel at MSFC, SLS Element prime contractors, and other NASA Centers, including Component Facilities and Technical and Service Support Centers.
  • Provide development, integration, analysis and assessments of Program and Element level schedules into a Program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Provide updates, statuses, and maintenance inputs to the IMS.
  • Maintain the element schedule performance to plan summary schedules charts for all Artemis missions (using Milestones Professional software) for program schedule integration and Element and Program reviews.
  • Analyze budget and resource requirements for programs/projects in order to assure cost and scheduling compatibility and to manage impacts resulting from changes to scope and resource requirements.
  • Develop, status, report, and document schedules and metrics for program and project management. Provide schedule analysis and report schedule findings as required.
  • Develop analysis of major projects within the program, including the forecasting and identification of issues, and develop recommendations to resolve identified issues.

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis.
  • Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, etc.) desired.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Extensive experience using commercial schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.
  • Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable
  • Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) a plus.
