Your day-to-day work will include:

• Installs, implements, administers, supports, and maintains third-party applications.

• Monitors designated applications and takes corrective action to prevent or minimize system downtime.

• Troubleshoots to resolve system-related problems; coordinates with relevant System Administrators and/or third-party vendors regarding user support and problem resolution.

• Work with Software / Teams, SharePoint, and database engine designers to implement new processes in Microsoft 365.

• Creates user documentation and may train personnel on new applications software.

• Implement network security and install/terminate Ethernet cable runs

• Provides upper-level support to users having difficulties with applications.

• Collaborates on special projects; assists in tracking and allocating software licenses.

• Work with and have basic knowledge of all Microsoft365 applications; Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive to provide support and assistance with technical issues

• Prepare software users by training, providing information, and resolving problems.

• Provide information by answering questions and requests by employees.

• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

• Support the implementation of Cybersecurity controls to get compliant with DFARS and NIST 800-171

• Perform certain Facilities type work such as moving furniture for office moves

• Perform server administration and maintenance to include Windows updates and software patches and monitor server for problems; conduct backup server tasks to include verifying backups and restoring files

• Administration of internal PBX and phones

• Manage accounts through Azure Active Directory.

• Maintains Asset Management, Software, Hardware, and Website Information.

• Keeps current with the latest technology; regularly attends technical training to maintain technical expertise.

• Other duties may be assigned.


• Must have a solid technical knowledge of PC and Desktop hardware and working knowledge of current operating systems and standards.

• Must be analytical and have strong problem-solving abilities.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Experience with Azure Active Directory

• Experience with Windows 10 Operating Systems.

• Experience with Mac Operating System is a plus but not a requirement.

• Experience with E-mail management MS Exchange/ MS 365

• Goal is driven and highly motivated, wanting to take the lead and learn new skills.

• Strong customer service skills and passion for working through obstacles to produce results.

• Proficient in multi-tasking and managing multiple projects, meeting target completion dates.

• Experience with local networking devices, corporate switches, and routers.

• Able to be flexible and adapt to change.

• Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.


• Working knowledge of and experience with server operating systems and applications such as Windows Server 2016, Exchange Server 2019, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Microsoft SQL Server

• Troubleshooting experience with networking technologies such as WAN, LAN, Wireless, Routers, and Firewalls

• Experience with the administration of sites on SharePoint Online

• Familiarity with network security such as Sophos XG firewalls

• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning software such as

Education Requirements:

Mandatory: Computer Science / Information Technology, Bachelor's (Preferred) years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Work hours:

Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up. Many of our positions allow some flexibility in the work schedule for unforeseen events so that our employees can maintain a 40-hour work week and still have the opportunity to meet other obligations during the workday.

Security Clearance:

For most positions at Aeyon, a candidate must have or be able to obtain a company sponsored security clearance. A security clearance is like a background check. It is required for individuals who are hired for US government jobs or any organization that handles information pertaining to national security. The security clearance process ensures your ability to securely access, manage, and protect classified information. Although the security clearance process involves several stages, the key steps to obtaining and maintaining a security clearance are pre-investigation, investigation, adjudication, and reinvestigation.
