Job Description:

Defense Pricing and Contracting (DPC) falls under the purview of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment. DPC’s mission is to enable the Components to effectively deliver goods and services that meet the needs of the warfighter, while ensuring a business deal that is in the best interests of the tax payer by overseeing and implementing business enterprise initiatives related to pricing, formulating and overseeing complex, DOD-wide pricing policies and strategies supporting the procurement of major defense system programs, major automated information systems and service acquisitions for the Department; and providing innovative policy, guidance, and oversight while being good stewards of the taxpayers' money.

Team Aeyon consists of Project Management, Researchers, Business Analysts and Developers that support DPC in creating BI solutions, such as dashboards, tables, graphs, reports, and data exports that help empower DPC leadership and DoD Contracting community to obtain reliable data in a user-friendly, self-service environment.

Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to the following:

• DoD experience and the ability to master the understanding of authoritative systems/sources, and registration process flows

• Requirements analysis and change management experience

• Experience working with many levels of the government

• Helping users with the requirements and registration for the SAM.gov system

• Work as a tier-3 helpdesk POC. This position requires the employee to help across all of DoD to take in the information, digest it, and either solve it or provide the path to the solution.

• Support SAM.gov and work with the System Account Administrators across DoD

• Support with meetings and requirement gathering for CLS

• Tier 1 help desk support for enterprise systems

• Generate analysis, and reports out of related systems, and dashboards

Must be a quick study and be able to isolate functional and/or technical issues enough to decide if it can be resolved within DPC or whether it requires escalation to involve GSA or other agencies. Must be able to work independently in assessing escalation tickets and keep workload moving even in the absence of Government help. Must be an effective communicator and able to handle multiple clients. The DPC role is often as a mediator between DoD and GSA. The communication is similar to a marketing and outreach type communication. May need to facilitate technical discussions with component system account administrators when they are having difficulties setting up new system accounts or renewing their accounts.

Experience Requirements:

Mandatory:

• 10 Years relevant experience

• 5 years DoD experience

• Experience with SAM.gov

PREFERRED

• DLA or OUSD experience

• Experience with enterprise systems such as CLS, FPDS-NG, DoD Procurement Toolbox, PIEE, PSC Selection Tool, ADVANA

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Arts Degree

Waiverable/Substitutable: 4 years additional experience can replace degree requirement.
