Your day-to-day work will include:
Generally, the Senior Financial Analyst supports the planning, policy, execution, reporting, and oversight of Financial Management (FM) operations. Support budget formulation, budget execution, cost accounting, resource evaluation and analysis (RE&A), OMB A-123, and financial statement audit initiatives. Support the formulation, evaluation, interpretation, and application of proposed and published FM policies and procedures. Support Fiscal Year (FY) closeout activities, including funds execution, reconciliation, validation, and certification. Support the development and delivery of financial management training, assistance, and inspection programs. Develop and deliver briefings relative to FM operations.
Specifically, the Senior Financial Analyst position will be supporting U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) activities and personnel with the execution and oversight of the Risk Management Internal Control Program (RMIC). The candidate will be expected to aid Marine Forces Pacific in aligning their Manager’s Internal Control Program (MICP) to HQMC and RMIC utilizing an integrated risk-based approach as well as aiding in the execution of proactive risk assessments. The candidate will support by aiding in the evaluation of internal controls over financial reporting and the financial systems assessment areas of the RMIC, fraud analytics, and the financial risk category of Enterprise Risk Management.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Approximately 6 – 10 years of experience in USMC financial management, including procurement and requisition lifecycle management. General working knowledge of the following systems and associated reports: DAI, OBIEE, SABRS, SMARTS, GCSS-MC, SYNCADA, DTS, GSA, EBS, PIEE/WAWF, WebVLips, CEDMS, LDG, STORES, EEBP, and DMLSS.
