Job Description

The Integrated Process Subject Matter Expert II (Journeyman) will serve as a pivotal team that supports the DEAMS Functional Management Office (FMO), Air Force Accounting Operations Center (AFAOC), and Air Force field commands using the DEAMS application. This role requires a dedicated professional who can effectively liaise with government product owners, diagnose and resolve tickets rapidly, and ensure the accuracy and efficacy of program reports and documentation.

Duties and experiences include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support an Agile Team framework, working closely with Government Product Owners to define User Stories, refine and prioritize Team Backlogs, and participate in cross-functional Scrum Team activities.
  • Diligently review, investigate, and diagnose tickets assigned through the Government-provided ticket management system, ensuring resolution within 30 calendar days or providing bi-weekly updates on ticket status.
  • Develop, review, and update program reports and query requirements documentation based on various inputs and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Participate in program-led solution development working groups to ensure reporting requirements are accurately interpreted.
  • Review documentation related to Functional Design (FD), Technical Design (TD), Test Case Execution Results (TCER), and test scripts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in integrated testing, deliver test results, document bugs, and utilize provided testing software and tools for test script analysis.
  • Update job aids and desktop procedures to support software updates and configuration changes.
  • Provide post-release SME support for troubleshooting, responding to user issues, identifying defects, or missed requirements.
  • Review and comment on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to support internal control requirements on report development processes.
  • Contribute to the DEAMS Concept of Operations (CONOPS) to document the program’s reporting strategy, configuration management, requirements development, and monitoring processes annually.
  • Offer technical support for Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Business Intelligence (BI), and Oracle EBS core and custom reports.
  • Develop ad hoc queries as required by the government to support analysis, metrics, investigations, and compliance reporting.

Experience Requirements:

  • 3 to 10 years of experience

Desired Experience:

  • Air Force and DoD financial management policies and procedures
  • Air Force policies, systems, and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property, and material management
  • Federal and Defense financial audit processes

Certification Requirements:

Desired Certifications

  • Agile software certifications, including scrum master or product owner
  • Certifications in SAFe Agile Framework
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

Education Requirements: Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science or Masters of Arts / Masters of Science
