Job Description:
Provide Subject Matter Expert support for the Planetary Missions Program Office (PMPO) under the NASA CPSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).
- Provide programmatic technical support, PP&C tasks, risk mitigation, and cost assessments for multiple PMPO missions such as Discovery, New Frontiers, Solar System Exploration, Lunar Development and Exploration Programs.
- Interface with senior management on programmatic decisions.
- Provide cost assessment, schedule logic assessment, earned value management, and parametric data analysis.
- Attending mission status and technical meetings for projects and providing recommendations to the Program Manager or decision makers resulting from the activities supported.
- Review documentation, technical reports, requirements documents, and memoranda to support program management decision making.
- Support development of PMPO-related handbook(s).
- Provide program-level integration engineering oversight for project missions throughout the project life cycle.
- Support the Development of PO documentation for PMPO projects.
- Support risk management process for PMPO Programs.
- Participate in project reviews and prepare programmatic presentations for PMPO Programs.
- Serve on assessment teams as required for PPMP missions.
- Provide PMPO & Mission requirements documentation creation and revisions.
- Candidates for this position must possess a HS Diploma
Experience Requirements:
- 20+ years of applicable experience desired
- Knowledge of Planetary Missions
- Cost and Schedule Assessments experience
- Project review experience
- Experience preparing and delivering programmatic presentations

Education Requirements: High School Diploma Required
Preferred: Bachelors of Art and Bachelors of Science
