Job Description:
The Scheduler will support NASA under the CPSS contract at the Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) Office in New Orleans LA. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide planning and schedule management of many MAF Construction of Facilities (CoF) projects.
- Provide development and integration of program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) of CoF projects with MAF tenant schedules and the SLS Core Stage.
- Provide updates, statuses, and maintenance inputs to the IMS, analyze the performance, produce the top five critical paths, and make recommendations to the NASA Program Manager.
- Provide EVM/Resource Loading related reporting for use in cost phasing plans.
- Provide review of the MAF tenant schedules.
- Conduct a “health assessment” to ensure scheduling best practices are followed (accurate status, complete network logic).
- Produce a monthly report documenting all findings, concerns and recommendations to the NASA PM.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis.
- Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, etc.) desired.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Extensive experience using commercial schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.
- Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable
- Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) a plus.
