Your day-to-day work will include:

Aeyon is seeking a Director with a strong passion for client success in the Department of Defense (DoD). The primary purpose of this position is to assist our Financial Systems Integration Community of Practice in solving its most challenging and complex tasks associated with the DoD SAP and Navy Enterprise Resources Planning System (NAVY ERP) in bringing the best of Aeyon to our clients. Aeyon combines our in-depth understanding of the DoD systems environment with our ability to work with our clients to collectively enable measurable, relevant, and sustainable improvements to drive mission success.

As a Practice Lead, you are a key leader in our organization responsible for cross-collaborating with Aeyon’s internal practice areas, our Business Sectors, Growth Operations, and our clients to drive new opportunities that solve the DoD’s toughest system migration challenges. This includes:

  • Understanding the Demand: Align the strategic direction of the NAVY ERP and or SAP S4 HANA migrations with an understanding of the overall DoD mission and Aeyon’s capabilities.
  • Understand our client’s business pain points and align Aeyon’s competencies against those requirements by showcasing corporate capabilities, developing solutions and white papers through collaboration with Aeyon SAP subject matter experts and our strategic partners, and aligning revenue opportunities with our ability to solve our clients’ most complex challenges.
  • Lead Sector Growth for SAP and Navy ERP migrations: Oversee the SAP and NERP systems migration pipeline of opportunities across the requirement lifecycle.
  • Integration: Coordinate and work with extended teams and Aeyon’s other growth team members to establish integrated marketing campaigns designed to grow market share, build the Aeyon brand, and achieve SAP and Navy ERP Financial Systems business objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: Forecast, identify, and screen Requests for Proposal (RFPs); conduct market research and analysis; qualify opportunities; lead and drive win strategies; develop and refine corporate solutions; build teams of partner companies; and create winning proposals.
  • Marketing: Led and influenced the SAP and Navy ERP marketing strategy at relevant events, conferences, association meetings, thought leadership, publication contributions, digital marketing, and advertising.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character
• Program Executive Office (PEO) and Systems Command (SYSCOM) experience preferred
• Experience with SAP-related system migrations and/or the optimization of SAP functional modules
• 10+ years of experience in a senior business development position supporting the DoD
• Previous experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing new or expanding business for a large or growing firm
• High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure
• Passion for managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and closing deals
• Experience leading pursuit teams in a matrixed environment
• Bringing in existing relationships and possessing the ability to create new relationships with customers and teaming partners
• Knowledge of DoD appropriations and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process

SYSTEM-SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Systems Experience: Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying SAP solutions in one of the following SAP modules; Financial Accounting (FI), Materials Management (MM), Project Systems (PS), Funds Management (FM), Human Resources (HR), Warehouse Management (WM), Sales and Distributions (SD), Controlling (CO), Asset Management (AM), Business Warehouse (BW), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Public Sector Collections and Disbursements (PSCD), SAP Workflow, SAP S4 HANA, Environmental Health and Safety, Basis, ABAP, Business Objects, and Solution Manager. Navy ERP Preferred.

Years of Experience: Candidate must have 10 years of full-time (excluding internships) experience within the past 15 years of progressive experience providing DoD ERP financial systems or SAP business systems services to Federal Government agencies or commercial companies.

Education Requirements:

Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited United States college or university. FINANCE/ACCOUNTING/BM

Post graduate degree from an accredited United States college or university preferred.

Work hours:

Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up. Many of our positions allow some flexibility in the work schedule for unforeseen events so that our employees can maintain a 40-hour work week and still have the opportunity to meet other obligations during the workday.
