Your day-to-day work will include:

Aeyon is currently seeking qualified candidates to support the United States Marine Corps OMB Circular A-123 Governance program. Candidates would have experience related to Risk Management and Internal Control (RMIC) program coordination, successful execution of the RMIC of large (CFO Act) agencies, or publicly held companies of similar size, structure, and complexity to the Marine Corps. Expertise should include knowledge around performing comprehensive risk assessments, documenting gaps, reviewing corrective action plans, validating remediation activities, and reporting results.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Familiarity with USMC business processes and procedures preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Support the Risk Management and Internal Control (RMIC) program

• Support in the planning and coordination of Fiscal Assist Visits (FAV) and Financial Management Evaluations (FME)

• Support comprehensive risk assessment activities.

• Monitor progress of financial management improvement CAPs, including CAP tracking and updating, and collection of supporting documentation for CAP closure

• Implementing data and system Internal Controls, documentation, and standardization

• Conduct an analysis of Business Process Narratives (BPN) for completeness, accuracy, format, content, and sufficiency of internal controls.

• Familiar with FISCAM and RMF implementation and sustainment

• Support management, oversight, and reporting for the fraud risk and data analytics program

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

6 Years’ progressive, relevant experience supporting systems consolidation/migration, modernization, ERP implementation, IT system audit readiness, IT audit reviews, IT system control documentation, and/or FISCAM and Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation and sustainment for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with Marine Corps or supporting Vendors/Agencies would be a plus.

• Familiarity with DON (USMC or Navy) Risk Management and Internal Control (RMIC) program coordination,

• Financial Management Systems, Audit/FIAR, or Financial Systems is a plus.

Education Requirements:

4-year degree in an appropriate technical field from an accredited institution

Mandatory: No

Waiverable/Substitutable: An additional two (2) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree

CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: CISA or similar IT professional certification required

Work Type:

National Capital Region (NCR)-preferred (15% work onsite / 85% remote as required)

Clearance Requirements:

SECRET Clearance.

Work hours:

Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up. Many of our positions allow some flexibility in the work schedule for unforeseen events so that our employees can maintain a 40-hour work week and still have the opportunity to meet other obligations during the workday.
